Care Instructions for rainwear
It is sometimes easy to forget that all the products we buy leave an imprint on our planet.
Therefore, we want to give our customers the opportunity to buy rainwear that is produced with care for both people and the environment.
Our goal and desire is for our products to be worn for generations. They are designed and constructed for the longest possible durability in both the choice of material and production.
We encourage a more long-term way of consuming.
Taking the best possible care of a garment is one of the simplest ways to keep the garment in good condition so that you can enjoy it for many years to come.
As the lighter colors and especially the shiny colors attract other colors, you should not have any dark colors hanging next to your rainwear.
Especially leather and artificial leather stain the rainwear.
Washing
To protect our environment and also the garments, do not wash unnecessarily!
Vinyl clothes are generally easy to keep clean and dry.
If the garment is in need of cleaning, do this primarily with a damp cloth without any detergent, lukewarm water is usually sufficient. If the garment is really dirty, you can of course use unpainted soap. This gives the garment a water and dirt repellent surface and makes it feel new and fresh.
If for some reason you want to wash the garment in a machine, this should be done at 40 ° C without rinse aid, preferably turned inside-out. Never tumble dry afterwards. After washing, you should air dry the garment.
Wrinkles on your clothes
When you get your garment home, it’s good if you hang it up. That way you avoid many of the wrinklemarks that your garment receives when it is in the packaging.
Should it be extra or slightly larger folds, you can iron the garment on the inside with caution and low temperatures. You should have some kind of fabric layer between the rain garment and the heat source.
In many of our garments there is an inner pocket. You can advantageously store your phone or something similar there to avoid water damage.
To think about
Should you miss a button, or lose one, mind that you can put in a new one with the right tool. If needed we can offer simple tools and buttons so that the garment can be repaired.
If you are doubtful or uncertain about how to handle your garments you can contact us and we can help you with tips and advice.
